We begin every project with a Design Consultation. Once booked, you’ll complete a brief inquiry form to help us understand your needs, timeline, and scope. We’ll then be better equipped to see if your project is a great fit for our studio and from there we’ll present you with a tailored proposal, so you know exactly what you are getting. Once approved, we guide you through every step—from design concept to final installation—so you can focus on what matters most while we bring your vision to life.

THE SIGNATUREOur most comprehensive offering, Our Full-Service interior design service is tailored for larger-scale residential and boutique commercial projects, including new builds, full-scale renovations, or complete furnishing packages. Whether working in person or remotely, we provide the same elevated, custom design package, complete with detailed plans, material and finish suggestions, and 3D visualizations—so you or your contractor can carry it out with confidence. For local clients, our in-person service includes hands-on support throughout the entire design journey, from on-site walkthroughs and trade coordination to final styling and installation oversight.

IMPLEMENTATIONAlready deep into your renovation or new build and need expert support to bring it across the finish line? Our Procurement & Styling service is exclusively available to clients who have completed an Interior Design or Furnishing Package with Citizen Design Co.
We bridge the gap between design and construction, providing a seamless, turn-key experience. Whether locally or on projects open to travel, we oversee the execution of your design package, and transform your build or renovation into a beautifully furnished, move-in ready home.
Once the construction or renovation is underway our team conducts site visits, coordinates directly with approved general contractors (or through our licensed sister company), and troubleshoots as needed to keep everything on track. Once the project is underway, we carefully curate and source every element of your space, from appropriately scaled furniture and artwork to fabrics, window treatments, wallpaper, and décor. Every choice is made with purpose and intention, creating a beautiful home that is cohesive, inviting, and timeless,
Once all items arrive safely in our warehouse, we book in the installation day, to bring your space to life, providing hands-on styling and layering in the finishing details that add warmth, personality, and refinement. From procurement, ordering, and tracking, to warehousing, deliveries, installing, and mover coordination, we manage the entire process with precision and care—so you can relax while your design comes to life.

Our Designer for a Day experience gives you direct access to our principal designer for a dedicated, high-impact session designed to eliminate feeling overwhelmed, and help you move forward with clarity on your project.
This one-day service is perfect for clients who need expert advice on specific design dilemmas—like sourcing furniture, styling a room, selecting finishes, or finalizing floor plans—without the longer timelines or investment of our larger full service design. You’ll receive six consecutive hours of undivided professional attention to troubleshoot, plan, and design—together. Think of it as six consultations in one. You bring the to-do list, we bring the expertise.

Our PROCESS

Our process begins with an initial consultation where our desgin team meets with you in your space, to fully understand your vision, style, budget and timeline. This is a great time to ask questions and ensure we are a good fit for one another!

We'll then provide a design proposal outlining the scope of work, along with a cost estimate, contract, and deposit invoice. Once signed and paid, your spot in our design calendar will be officially reserved.

Then we move onto gathering essential information such as; existing blueprints or lot plan, a detailed design questionnaire, inspiration images and your must haves list in order to develop the initial project concept and overall direction.

The preliminary design concept includes mood boards, floor plan layout options, a curated color palette, and 3D renderings—crafted to align our visions and establish the overall mood before moving into detailed development.

You will then review your proposed design concept + submit your feedback so we can begin to refine the design. We will adjust these details based on your feedback to make sure things are perfect. We then complete the architectural plans, final 3D renderings, and material + product selections for your contractor to begin the budgeting and construction phase.

With the design approval and all revisions complete we then begin the bidding process. With construction underway, we’ll begin sourcing and procuring furniture and decor for that final layer of lived-in perfection. We’ll order and store your pieces during construction, and once construction is complete, we handle the installation and final styling to bring your vision to life.

We handle every finishing touch—from coordinating deliveries and placing furnishings to thoughtfully styling your space with layered decor, artwork, textiles, and accessories. Each element is carefully selected not only for beauty but also arranged to create proper traffic flow and function, comfort, and proper scale. A final walkthrough ensures every detail is perfected and meets your approval before we complete the project.
